I Lost Everything Because of Beverly Osu’s Assault Allegation — Rapper 2Shotz



Veteran Nigerian rapper, 2Shotz, has opened up about how allegations of a§§ault by actress Beverly Osu r¥ined his life and career.


Speaking on The Teju Babyface Show, the rapper said, “I was accused of so many things that I really am not. Everybody tore me apart. And at the time I dey Yankee. And the then wife I had, I didn’t know she was taking note of how she was going to use that to destroy me.”


When asked if the incident with Beverly Osu occurred before his marriage, he clarified, “It had happened a long time before I got married. I didn’t even know that it was a happening in the first place. She had always come to my house and be around. You know how babes be. You go dey give, you go dey drop. You want to be a model. So, you were in my video and then after a while you started coming to sm+sh a couple of times. You wanted to be my girlfriend. Anyway long story short. We were sc¥ffling, we were arguing, I’m like ’ I don’t understand why your mum will be calling me. I haven’t even seen you in months. Where have you been? Why is your mum calling me?


The other time Na so I wake up my boys came to wake me up that I’ve engaged Beverly that it’s all over the place.

Anyway I was trying to scruffle this girl. I no dey b+at person. Yeah we sc¥ffled and inside that sc¥ffle my hand brushes her face and she called it b+ating. If I b+at you e go show now.”


Reflecting on the toll the controversy took on him, 2Shotz revealed, “It actually cost me my marriage. It actually cost me my daughter. I haven’t seen my daughter once. Everything went down. I wasn’t getting shows. I wasn’t getting deals. I lost my house. I almost I+lled myself. I Waka enter water na people pulled me out.”
